Swedish metallers In Flames have the following update:
“Unfortunately tonight (July 12) show in the Evolution Festival in Italy has been cancelled. [BLABBERMOUTH.NET As reported earlier today.-Ed] The resignation was due to extreme rain and bad weather. The main reason for us to cancel the show was that the rain was the way to the stage off the monitor mixer and also makes it extremely dangerous to allow the band and the crew. As we all know, water and electricity and not well together…
“We are very sad, because this show. We were really looking forward to play tonight, but as you will hopefully understand, it is beyond control.
“We’ll be back in Italy on October 21 - Milano in Alcatraz, so I hope you all!
“Even our sincere apology that this evening to cancel ’s Showtime!”
In Flames will focus on a European headlining tour in October. Support on the tour, Sonic Syndicate, Gojira.
In Flames’s new album, “A Sense of Purpose”, shifted 20000 copies in the United States during the first week of release. This is slightly less than the opening of the census of “Come Clarity” (Ferret), which sold nearly 24,000 copies in February 2006 to debut at position No. 58
